Timblissful Wins at Snowy Woodbine

February 18, 2007 - Timblissful bounced back with a strong effort on Friday night on an off-going at Woodbine. This was her first win out of three starts in 2007 and the first of her career on a 7/8ths of a mile track.

Leaving from post three, driver Luc Ouellette was able to accelarate Timblissful to the lead but gave up control to a hard-charging Easy Feelin in a brisk quarter of 26:4.  Luc looked like he had a comfortable hold of Timblissful while sitting in the pocket as they passed by the half in 57:1.  As they headed to three quarters Mustang Kelsey rallied into the top three and challenged Easy Feelin for the lead and those two battled as Timblissful watched the action.  As the teletimer for three quarters stopped at 1:27 and the horses headed for the stretch, Luc tipped Timblissful into the three path to have clear sailing for a stretch drive.  Under urging his calls to Timblisful were answered as she wore down the leaders and drew off by one and a quarter lengths in a career best 1:55:4 with a one second variant.

The five year old daughter of Blissful Hall took down a purse of $10,500 and has bankrolled $14,070 so far in 2007.
